The Chamber held its Annual Awards Banquet on March 8th at the Hope Hotel and Richard C. Holbrooke Banquet Center. The Chamber was honored to have 200 chamber members and guests attend to show their appreciation to our award winners.
This was the 45th year the chamber has hosted this banquet honoring citizens who have committed their lives to making the Beavercreek community a better place to live and work. The awards given each year show how much these citizens are appreciated and valued for what they do for our community.
The Chamber gave special recognition to two groups who have made significant contributions to our community. The Beavercreek Youth Council, and their leader Felicia Hall were honored with the Civic Award for their commitment to improving the lives of many citizens of Beavercreek. The committee responsible for the 9-11 Memorial was also honored for volunteering their time to make this memorial a reality in 2011.
Brian Lampton serves on the 9-11 memorial committee as the Vice-Chair. “We are so pleased to be recognized by the Beavercreek Chamber for our work on the 9-11 memorial.” “It is a honor and privilege to work on this committee, and work with the community to construct the memorial that our children and their children can learn about those historical events in US history.”
